Denmark Picking Trip 2016

I stopped by Double Peak Park today to take a pic of these two restored Heart chairs designed by Hans Wegner for Fritz Hansen who went straight from Jose's workshop to the house of talented NY photographer Mark Owens.

If today I live my own version of the American Dream in California it is mostly because of my very first love affair: Skateboarding. Its multi dimensional artistic culture so deeply rooted in me shaped who I became and I will be always grateful it allowed me to become part of such a special tribe.
I will never forget my very first trip to SF and the sight of the EMB in my teenage years… A city where a decade+ later I met my better half and where my daughter was born...
So as I was about to photoshoot those stools, the orange and white colors stroke me as being "SF" so I took stuff from the walls and decided to do a special shout out to all riders and Bay Area lovers...
Thanks to Keith "HUF" Hufnagel as well to stop by my booth a few weeks ago when I was exhibiting at the Modernica factory. Our paths have crossed many times in SF in the 2000's to run again into each other in LA this time...
